We are continuing to listen to Jesus as He talks with His disciples on their last walk together.  They just left the upper room where they had supper and communion together. Now they  are walking down into the Kidron Valley on the east side of Jerusalem, up the other side to the garden where Judas will kiss Jesus for his 30 pieces of silver.

We are examining aspects of being “in Christ.” We looked at the Biblical description of our relationship to each other as members in Christ’s body. Then, we inserted a comment on “koinonia-parousia”focusing onthe intimate nature of our one-nessin the Body of our Lord Jesus.In John15, our one-ness is also seen in Jesus Himself, as the Vine, andthe Father Vinedresser

God provisioned us with love and grace.  Out of His agape context flows our life.  We are born into His family growing our union into Him, communing on a personal level within His Son Jesus.  Ours is much more than relationship with His created beings, it is koinonia, an intimacy and participation in mundane earthly concerns.  In fact, you might call it His parousia because it is not only His coming into our life, its His enduring presence of righteousness and  truth breathing into our life, His.
